Research
In our natural environment, visual objects or events are usually accompanied by sound. This visual and auditory information gets integrated and is known as multisensory integration. Therefore, how does humans integrate information from multiple senses, in particular visual and auditory signals? How does how sensorimotor systems deal with this complexity? My PhD work will investigate how we perceive, classify, select objects, and make decisions in a context that contains multiple sensory signals with different values.
