Facial Recognition Quiz
Welcome to the facial recognition quiz! In this quiz you will be deciding which of a pair of faces most closely resembles a separate reference face. At the end of the quiz, you will receive a score that you can use to compete with your friends and a rank amongst all the other participants. You will also be contributing valuable data to a scientific study on the role of adaptation aftereffects on facial recognition.
The quiz will consist of three parts: a very brief survey, a training phase and a quiz phase. In the training phase, we will familiarize you with the format of the questions we will be asking and give you an opportunity to practice without affecting your score. The quiz phase consists of 50 questions in which you will be able to show off your facial recognition skills. In total, the survey, quiz and training phases should take roughly 20 minutes to complete.
Remember, all the data gathered in this quiz (including survey data) is completely anonymous. If you would like more information regarding this study, you may contact Dr. Ipek Oruc or one of her associates at (604) 875-4111 (ext 69398) or ipor[at]mail[dot]ubc[dot]ca.
